What KeyWatch does

KeyWatch monitors Telegram groups for messages matching your keywords or AI prompt. Matching messages are forwarded to your chosen destinations (DM, groups, channels).

What we store on our server (orchestrator)

  • Your Telegram user ID
  • Your keyword list and AI prompt
  • Your group list (which groups you monitor)
  • Your alert destinations
  • A hashed token for authentication (bcrypt)
  • Payment history (if applicable)

What we do NOT store

  • Your Telegram session or login credentials
  • Your Telegram API keys (api_id, api_hash)
  • Message content from monitored groups
  • Personal data of group members
  • Your API keys or credentials

Where your data lives

The monitoring runtime runs on your own server (Railway or your VPS) or on our shared pool. Your Telegram session and message processing happen on the runtime. AI matching is handled server-side by our infrastructure — no external API keys required from you.

Semantic matching & AI prompt mode

Semantic matching uses embeddings to compare keywords by meaning. AI prompt mode uses built-in Haiku AI — no API key needed from you. Both run server-side on our infrastructure. Message content is processed in real time and not stored after matching.

Data deletion

Use the /delete command in the bot to permanently remove all your data from our server. This is immediate and irreversible.

Telegram disclaimer

KeyWatch uses TDLib (Telegram Database Library) to monitor groups. This is not endorsed by Telegram. Automated usage of user accounts may violate Telegram's Terms of Service. We recommend using a separate Telegram account for monitoring. Use at your own risk.
